Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, safety-focused Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator to join our team. This role is structured for an early-career tradesperson looking to consolidate their trade skills and work on diverse, practical projects in a supportive team workplace.

Working alongside our experienced Tradespeople, Leading Hands and Supervisors, you will perform fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
n
Fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain structural components and machinery.
n
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
n
Execute precise cutting, shaping, bending, and heat-treating of metal products.
n
Perform welding and thermal cutting techniques, including Stick, MIG, TIG, oxy cutting, and air arc gouging.
n
Inspect and clean welds to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
n
Safely operate hand tools, machinery,



and welding equipment.
n
Complete daily job sheets, workshop upkeep, and safety reporting.
n
Position Requirements
n
Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (or recognised trade equivalent).
n
Licence: Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
Core Competencies: Practical understanding of standard fabrication methods, tools, and drawing interpretation.
n
Safety & Attitude: Robust safety focus, reliable work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
n
