Locum Nephrology Consultant / Specialist / VMO - Bathurst Health Service

Bathurst Health Service is seeking a Locum Nephrology Consultant, Specialist or VMO to support medical cover within Western NSW LHD.
n
This role is suited to an experienced Nephrology specialist who is confident managing renal medicine presentations, supporting inpatient reviews, clinical decision-making, documentation and escalation of care where required.
n
Clinical Environment:
n
Nephrology Consultant / Specialist / VMO role
n Hospital-based locum position at Bathurst Health Service
n Short block available within Western NSW LHD
n Supportive clinical setting with escalation pathways available
n Suitable for doctors with recent Nephrology consultant-level experience
n
Key Duties:
n
Review and manage nephrology and renal medicine patients
n Support inpatient consultations and clinical decision-making
n Develop and document management plans
n Complete handover and clinical documentation as required
n Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
n
Eligibility Criteria:
n
Current AHPRA Specialist Registration




n Recent Nephrology consultant-level experience
n Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
n Ability to work safely within scope and elevate appropriately
n Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
n
