About the Role
As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be responsible for helping maintain the safety, reliability and performance of a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Completing maintenance, repairs and component change-outs on heavy mobile plant
Carrying out diagnostics,



fault finding, inspections, overhauls and scheduled servicing
Performing planned and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner
Providing daily operational support, including refuelling as required
Working independently while adhering to site procedures and safety requirements
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance team
Ensuring all work is completed to required safety, quality and compliance standards
About You
A recognised trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
Previous experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills
Current Queensland Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain
Standard 11, or willingness to obtain
Current Queensland Driver Licence
A strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
