Registered Nurse – Community / Home‐Based Care
We are seeking experienced and patient‐focusedRegistered Nursesto deliverin‐home infusion supportfor patients prescribed specialist medications.
This is a flexible, community‐based opportunity suited to nurses who enjoy autonomy, patient education, and working one‐on‐one in the home environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will support patients and/or their carers through:
In‐home IV infusions, including pre‐ and post‐observations
Documentation, reporting, and adverse event monitoring in line with program requirements
Visit Expectations
Patient contact to be madewithin 48 hoursof referral to arrange a mutually convenient visit
Visit duration: approx.3.5 hours
Visits will occurconsecutive for 10 dayswith14 days off
Completion of visit documentation and time recordingwithin 24 hours
Prompt reporting of any adverse events, incidents, or spills in accordance with protocols
Training Provided

Disease and medication education




Medication administration
Pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting
Standard operating procedures
Essential Requirements
CurrentRegistered Nurseregistration (AHPRA)
CurrentCPRcertification
Demonstrated experience withIV cannulation
Demonstrated experience administering infusion viaPort-a-cath
High attention to detail and strong clinical documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of computer literacy and confidence using online portals
Flexible availability (days and times)
Access to a protected, roadworthy vehicle
Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
Desirable Experience
Community or home‐based nursing experience
