Experienced Dispensary Technician - Nanango

DDS Nanango is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team.

We are looking for someone with previous community pharmacy and dispensary experience who is confident working in a busy dispensary environment and can provide reliable support to our pharmacists and wider pharmacy team.

About the Role

As a Dispensary Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pharmacists with day-to-day dispensary operations
Processing prescriptions and assisting with dispensary workflow
Preparing and managing Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) where required
Maintaining accurate patient and medication records
Managing stock, including ordering, receiving and maintaining dispensary stock
Assisting with general dispensary administration
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Working collaboratively with pharmacists and other pharmacy team members
Following pharmacy procedures, policies and relevant skilled requirements

About You





To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous dispensary technician experience in a community pharmacy
Solid knowledge of dispensary processes and pharmacy workflow
Experience with DAA packing is highly regarded
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Positive organisational and time-management skills
Solid communication and customer service skills
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, positive and professional approach to work
Previous experience with pharmacy dispensing and DAA software will be highly regarded
