Little Steps Early Learning is a purpose-built, privately-owned centre providing a nurturing, inquiry-based workplace for children and families. We are licensed for 40 children each day.
n
Onsite and street parking is available.
n
It is conveniently located near public transportation.
n
We are seeking Full Time Toddler or Preschool Room Assistant Educator to join our energetic team.
n
Key requirements:
n
n
Early Childhood Certificate III, Diploma or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification.
n
Candidates must hold a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
n
Minimum of one year experience is desirable
n
Positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player
n
Knowledge and understanding of the ELYF and NQS
n
Current WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificate.
n
All certificates including WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma,



and Anaphylaxis must be current at the time of application.
n
A passion for providing high-quality education and care to children and families
n
Well-developed written and spoken communication skills relevant to an early childhood education setting
n

Key responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community
n
Support room leader for daily task and deliver high quality education and care
n
Actively contribute as a team-oriented and reliable team member
n
Work in partnership with children, families, colleagues, and the community in line with the service philosophy
n
