Leading Hand / Junior Site Manager - Eastern Suburbs - 5 days per week
Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with a highly regarded high-end residential builders, specialising in architecturally designed renovations and additions across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West.
You'll be supported in your development by the senior team and molded into a great builder.
Responsibilities
Supervise architectural renovation and addition projects
Complete carpentry work when needed
Ensure all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
Support and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Maintain a tidy and respectful site - especially important when working on occupied properties




Maintain a safe working workplace and ensure all workers comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements
At least 3 years' experience out of your carpentry apprenticeship with experience leading a team as a Leading Hand / Foreman
Experience working on high-end residential builds (essential)
Renovation and addition experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Eagerness to learn and develop
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
