We are currently seeking agentle, kind-hearted, and reliable Support Workerto support a lovely client based inCaboolture.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful, person-centred support to someone living with a psychosocial disability.
In this role, you will be providingcompanionship and social connection, assisting withlight domestic dutiesto maintain a clean and comfortable home, and supporting the client withcommunity access, including attending appointments and outings.
The focus is on creating a calm, supportive, and positive environment.

We are looking for someone who iscompassionate, patient, and gentle in their approach, with experience or confidence supporting individuals withmental health or psychosocial disabilities.
A strong attention to cleanliness and pride in maintaining an organised environment is essential.
It is also important that youlove dogs, as the client hasthree adorable pugswho are very much part of the household.
We're looking for someone who
Can remain calm, supportive, and grounded when our client becomes talkative or moves quickly between thoughts.
Understands trauma-informed practice and can maintain emotional safety and predictability.
Is reliable, non‐judgmental, and patient.
Shifts available - 7 days per week 10am-2pm

as you will have support in this via a dedicated QSSS Support Specialist as well as training provided by experiences Support Workers and a Behavioural Support Practitioner who can assist you in ensuring you are absolutely set up to have an awesome time with this person.
QSSS hourly rates areWeekday $*****,Evening $*****,Night $*****,Saturday$*****,Sunday $*****,PublicHolidays $***** -(sorry, rate not negotiable).
We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions whererequired, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having theassurance of consistency ofClientsyou support.
You have a comprehensive suite ofonline learning to support you and face to face learnings.
Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:
To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client's needs
Provide support to our Clients as required
Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
Be reliable and adaptable to fill shifts when required
Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
To be successful you must:

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
