Maintenance Electrician | Permanent Night Shift | $60/hr + Penalties
Our client is looking for an experiencedA-Grade Maintenance Electricianto join their permanent maintenance team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Broadmeadows.
This is a dedicated night-shift position, working 6:00pm to 6:00am, with a solid hourly rate and applicable shift and weekend penalties.

The role
You'll be responsible for keeping production machinery running safely and reliably, including:
Preventative and breakdown maintenance
Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
Troubleshooting production machinery
Electrical control systems
Planned maintenance and inspectionsMachinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Working with Production to minimise downtime




Completing maintenance records and documentation
What you need
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence – essential
Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician
Manufacturing, industrial or production maintenance experience
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
Ability to read electrical drawings
PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Food manufacturing experience is not essential.
