We currently have an opportunity for aWork, Health & Safety Coordinatorto join our team based atGlendenning(hybrid-work available).
As an integral part of our small team of 3 and partnering closely with thePeople & Culture Managerand theSenior Leadership team, this role will work to support the business across the full range of Work, Health & Safety activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support leaders across the business to drive safety compliance and initiatives for their functions
Provide interpretation and support to leaders regarding WHS compliance
Review, update and create new WHS policies and procedures as required
Ensure safety certifications and licenses are up to date,



and safety administration is managed and followed up to ensure compliance
Support Senior Leaders to carry out key safety initiatives including Risk Management, SOP's, Incident Reporting, Emergency Management and Contractor Management
Chair the Health & Safety Committee– including participants across all functions.
Work with leaders to ensure teams complete safety training in timeframes specified
Complete monthly Safety Reporting to the Executive team and Whites Group Board
Act as company Return to Work Coordinator, and manage Workers Compensation Claims to closure
Skills/Experience
2-3 years' experience working in Work Health & Safety
Tertiary qualification in Safety or a related field (desirable, not essential)
Return to Work Coordinator qualification (desirable, not essential)
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Experience in partnering closely with a business to drive safety related initiatives
