We are a leading Australian retailer of premium tools and consumables looking for an autonomous, driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team of 6.

Responsibilities:
Work autonomously and be responsible for purchasing itemsand materials from local (Australian) andinternational suppliers.
Seek suppliers through online ecommerce websites.
Coordination of logistics
Liaising with customs brokerand freight forwarder re shipments, custom clearance and delivery.
Review our existing product offering and identify sales opportunities byintroducing new productscurrently not available in the current range.
Communicating with internalstakeholdersregardingthe status of shipments (warehouse, product and sales teams).




Completing other administrative tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
Essential Qualities:
1-2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in the hardware or the automotive industry is preferred
Proven ability toprioritisemany tasks at once througheffective problem solvingandstrong organisational skills
Robust interpersonal skills and experience developing key relationships
Advanced experience in Excel
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
