Slide Easy is a rapidly growing mobile repair business specialising in sliding doors, security doors, windows and associated hardware.
We service customers across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, and we're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Trade Assistant, with the opportunity to develop into a fully trained Door & Window Technician.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Assist our technicians with onsite repairs and installations
Learn how to repair and service sliding doors and windows
Learn to use hand and power tools
Help with measuring, cutting and fitting materials
Load and maintain tools, equipment and van stock
Keep the work vehicle and equipment organised
Communicate professionally with customers
Work at residential and commercial properties
Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop
Eventually operate your own fully equipped Slide Easy mobile van
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't necessarily need previous experience in this exact trade.
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Practical and mechanically minded
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools - or keen to learn
Physically capable of performing hands-on work
Well presented and professional with customers
A good communicator
Able to work independently once trained
Someone who takes pride in doing a quality job
Keen to learn a specialised trade and build a career
Previous experience in carpentry, glazing, aluminium, building, construction, maintenance, handyman work, fencing,



mechanics or another hands-on trade would be an advantage, but is not essential.
A driver's licence is required.
