Diamond Building and Constructions – Emu Plains NSW

You will be responsible for estimating a range of residential and commercial construction projects from initial plans through to handover to our construction team.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Reviewing architectural, structural and engineering plans.
n
Preparing detailed estimates, take-offs and scopes of works.
n
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing.
n
Identifying project risks, omissions and opportunities.
n
Preparing tender submissions and project budgets.
n
Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
n
Assisting with procurement and pre-construction planning.
n
Working closely with our Directors, Design and Construction teams.
n
Helping improve estimating systems and processes.
n
Help manage the process until it reaches the construction hand over.
n

About you
n
n
5+ years estimating experience in the Australian construction industry.
n
Strong experience in residential construction, renovations and extensions.
n
Commercial fit-out experience highly regarded.
n




Strong understanding of construction methodology and trade pricing.
n
Ability to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
n
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
n
