Job Description
Spotted Frog Kindergarten is a small, family-run early childhood service located in Lake Haven, caring for up to 50 children each day aged 2–6 years.
We are looking for a happy, reliable and experienced Centre Cook who has a passion for preparing nutritious meals and enjoys working in an setting with young children.
The role includes:
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for up to 50 children
Catering for children with allergies and individual dietary requirements
Menu planning and online ordering
Shopping and maintaining kitchen suppliesManaging the daily operation of the kitchen
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen
Working collaboratively with our educators and management team
Applicants must have:
Previous experience working as a cook in an early childhood service
Experience preparing meals for children aged 2–6 years
Knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements and safe food preparation
A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
Food Handling/Food Safety and Hygiene certification, or willingness to complete it
A friendly nature, strong organisational skills and a reliable work ethic
