We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at The Provincial Restaurant. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. You will work closely with the owners and restaurant manager to create cutting-edge and delicious menus that reflect our commitment to using fresh, local ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards

/n
Collaborate with other chefs to create new and exciting menu items

/n
Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely and consistent manner

/n
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene standards

/n
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff

/n
Monitor and control food waste and kitchen expenses

/n
Adhere to all health and safety regulations

/n




Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques

/n

Requirements:

Certificate IV in commercial cookery or above

/n
Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role

/n
Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen

/n
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

/n
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and handle pressure

/n
Excellent time management and organizational skills

/n
Team player with strong communication and leadership skills

/n
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

/n
Must be eligible to work in Australia

Contract Details:

/n

This is a full-time position with a salary of $80,000 - $85,000 per year plus superannuation. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive team workplace, with opportunities for career growth and development.
