Measure, cut, prepare and install glass for residential and commercial applications. Install and replace windows, doors, mirrors, shower screens, glass panels and other glazing products. Remove broken or damaged glass safely and prepare frames for replacement. Carry out on-site measurements and assess glazing requirements. Ensure installations are completed accurately, safely and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
Measure, cut, prepare and install glass for residential and commercial applications
Install and replace windows, doors, mirrors, shower screens, glass panels and other glazing products
Remove broken or damaged glass safely and prepare frames for replacement
Measure and mark glass accurately before cutting and installation
Cut, shape, drill and finish glass using appropriate tools and equipment
Fit glass into timber, aluminium, steel and other framing systems
Apply sealants, glazing compounds, rubber seals, gaskets and other fixing materials




Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and measurements
Identify faults or installation issues and carry out repairs where required
Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in secure working condition
About you
Relevant experience working as a Glazier
A relevant trade qualification in glazing or equivalent industry experience
Demonstrated experience measuring, cutting and installing glass
Experience with residential and/or commercial glazing
Ability to accurately read measurements, plans and job specifications
Good knowledge of glazing tools, materials and installation techniques
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to work safely with glass and glazing equipment
A current Australian driver's licence (required)
