CJD Equipment is looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice to join our Brisbane team and complete a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology. This is your opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from skilled technicians, and build a long-term career in an industry that helps keep Australia moving.

What You'll Be Doing:

Learn to service, maintain and repair a range of Volvo construction equipment.
n
Develop hands-on skills under the guidance of experienced technicians.
n
Use modern tools, diagnostic systems and industry-leading technology.
n
Complete your trade qualification while earning on the job.
n
Build a strong foundation for future career opportunities within CJD.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
A genuine interest in mechanics, machinery or the automotive industry.
n
Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
n
Completed Year 11 or Year 12, ideally with maths and science subjects.
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
n
Basic computer skills.
n
A positive attitude and pride in your work.
n
A commitment to workplace safety and our Zero Harm culture.
n




The ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
n
Availability to work reasonable overtime and occasional weekends when required to support operational needs
n
A current driver's licence (manual preferred).
n
You must also be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
