About the Role
n
The Assistant Manager's role is to coordinate hire activities, facilitate productive logistical management of hire equipment bookings, and support the Manager in ensuring smooth running of the Branch/Division.
n
You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team that values quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Opening / Closing of branches
n
Provide customers with an outstanding experience onsite and instore
n
Supporting customers to identify their equipment hire requirements and providing accurate advice in terms of timeframes, equipment availability, and costs.
n




Working collaboratively with their teams and other Branches/Divisions to coordinate efficient outcomes for customers.
n
Organise and coordinate transport fulfilling customers requirements
n
Creating hire schedules, quotes, bookings and invoicing
n
Carry out equipment stock takes
n
Manage time effectively to meet operational priorities
n
Ensure compliance with WHS and company safety procedures
n
Reporting to Division and Branch Managers
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
We're looking for someone long-term who is reliable, practical and takes pride in their work.
n
Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
n
Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excell, Outlook) and an ability to learn internal company software
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Willingness to take on responsibility
n
Ability to understand scale, importance, urgency and prioritisation
n
Working hours are negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process.
n

Requirements
n
n
Minimum of C class license and daily commute to work is essential
n
Minimum 2 years in a previous managerial role
n
n
