About the role
n
Shades of Elegance is seeking a reliable and hands-on Blinds Manufacturing & Delivery Assistant to join our production team on a full-time basis at our Campbellfield facility.
n
You will help manufacture, assemble and package high-quality blinds and occasionally deliver completed orders to customers. This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality work and is comfortable performing delivery duties when required.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Measure and cut tubes and other materials accurately
n
Assemble roller blinds and related components according to production requirements
n
Prepare materials, components and equipment for manufacturing
n
Operate basic manufacturing machinery and power tools safely
n
Inspect finished products and report defects or quality issues
n
Package and label completed blinds for dispatch
n
Load and unload products safely
n
Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
n
Handle products carefully during transport and provide friendly, professional customer service
n
Assist with stock control and inventory management
n
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
n
Support other team members and assist with general workshop duties as required
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly,



warehousing or a similar environment is desirable but not essential
n
A current Australian driver's licence and confidence driving for deliveries
n
A safe and responsible approach to driving
n
Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
n
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and quality checks
n
Confidence using basic hand and power tools
n
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
Physical ability to safely perform repetitive tasks and lift, carry, load and unload blinds and materials
n
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Willingness to learn new skills and follow workplace health and safety procedures
n
