About The Role
St Joseph's School is seeking a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our student wellbeing and learning support team. Working collaboratively with students, families, teachers, school leaders and external service providers, you will provide specialist occupational therapy services that support students' participation, learning, engagement and wellbeing. You will play a key role in identifying student needs, implementing evidence-based interventions, contributing to inclusive education practices and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
What You'll Do
Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations
In collaboration with Inclusive Education Leaders and Assistant Principal of Wellbeing,



develop and implement evidence-based interventions for individual students and small groups
Work collaboratively with teachers and education support staff to enhance student participation and learning outcomes
Provide specialist advice and recommendations to school staff and families
Liaise with external agencies and allied health providers
Maintain professional records, reports and case documentation
Contribute to a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and student success throughout the school community

About You

Strong clinical knowledge and experience in occupational therapy practice

An understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education and the ethos of our school
Essential Requirements
Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs, is highly desirable
Current Working with Children Check
Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) certification, or willingness to obtain
First Aid Certificate in an Education and Care Setting, or willingness to obtain
