Hunter Sports Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader Trampoline & Tumbling to support the growth and success of our programs. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing athletes, mentoring coaches, and delivering high-quality experiences across recreational, development, and competitive pathways. Working within our Trampoline Centre of Excellence, you will foster a positive, inclusive, and child-safe culture while contributing to the advancement of trampoline gymnastics throughout the Hunter region and beyond.

About the role
n
Reporting to the Sports Development Officer – Trampoline, the Team Leader Trampoline & Tumbling will provide leadership across recreational, development, and competitive trampoline programs. The role combines coaching, athlete development, staff mentoring, program coordination, and operational support to ensure outstanding participant experiences and athlete outcomes.

Key responsibilities
n
Deliver high-quality trampoline and tumbling programs across all participation levels
n
Coach athletes within recreational, development, and competitive streams
n
Lead approximately ***** hours of face-to-face coaching per week
n
Support athlete progression and talent identification pathways
n
Supervise, mentor, and develop coaching staff
n
Assist with competition preparation, entries, travel, and event delivery
n
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
n
Ensure compliance with child-safe standards, WHS requirements, and risk management processes
n
Engage with athletes, families, schools, and external stakeholders
n




Assist with facility operations, equipment management, and program administration
n
About you
n
Gymnastics Australia Trampoline Coaching Accreditation
n
Minimum Advanced Trampoline & Tumbling qualification (or willingness to progress)
n
Demonstrated coaching and athlete development experience
n
Strong understanding of child-safe practices and compliance requirements
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check
n
Current Class C Driver License
n
Experience mentoring or supervising coaches (desirable)
n
Knowledge of Gymnastics Australia pathways and frameworks (desirable)
