BFX Furniture is seeking reliable and experienced Furniture Assemblers to join our production teams at our Head Office and Manufacturing Facility in Yandina.
n
These opportunities are ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‐on work, have experience assembling furniture, using hand tools, and can commit to supporting our busy production season until early ****.
n
About the Role
n
Working as part of our production team, you will assemble a range of furniture products to a high standard while meeting production schedules and maintaining workplace safety requirements.
n
n
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:06pm
n
Start Dates: October, November and December ****
n
Employment Type: Casual or Maximum-Term Contract
n
n
These positions are required to support our peak season, which generally runs through to February, however employment may extend beyond this period depending on production requirements.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assemble furniture products using hand and power tools
n
Read and follow assembly instructions and production schedules
n
Conduct quality control checks
n
Measure components to verify specifications
n
Maintain a clean and protected work area
n
Meet production targets and deadlines
n




Ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer requirements
n
Follow all WHS procedures, company policies, and quality standards
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Previous furniture assembly, manufacturing, or production experience
n
Confidence using hand and power tools
n
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
n
Strong attention to detail and quality
n
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
n
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
Commitment to workplace safety
n
Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and lifting
n
