/nAbout the Role/n
/nWe are seeking a full time Cook to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, ensuring food safety and supporting the kitchen team in delivering an excellent dining experience./n
/n
/nKey responsibilities include:/n
/nPreparing ingredients for traditional Malaysian dishes/n
/nPreparing meats and vegetables, including marinating meats/n
/nChecking the freshness and quality of food and vegetables/n
/nDeep-frying, frying, stir-frying, steaming, grilling and boiling food in accordance with company recipes/n
/nMaintaining consistent taste, quality and presentation/n




/nWorking collaboratively with other kitchen staff/n
/nMaintaining a clean, hygienic and organised kitchen/n
/nMonitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient supplies are available for cooking/n
/n
/nAbout You/n
/nThe successful applicant will have:/n
/nA minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Cook/n
/nStrong knowledge of Asian cuisine/n
/nThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment/n
/nGood communication and teamwork skills/n
/nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required/n
/nA relevant cookery or hospitality qualification/n
/n
/nWhat We Offer/n
/nA full-time, ongoing position/n
/nA salary of $80,000–$85,000 per annum plus superannuation/n
