Orana Motor Inn is seeking a qualified and experienced Hotel and Motel Manager (ANZSCO ******) to oversee the daily operations of our motel in Irymple, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall daily operations of the hotel/motel, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery across all departments
Supervise reservations, reception, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance and security operations
Coordinate food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, conference and function facilities
Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff to maintain high standards of customer service
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control purchasing and oversee accounting activities
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation,



workplace health and safety requirements and other relevant statutory regulations
Monitor guest feedback, respond to enquiries and complaints, and implement service improvements as required
Provide guests with local tourism information and assist with arranging tours, transport and other guest services
Skills and Qualifications
AQF Associate Degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality, Business or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
Proven experience as a Hotel/Motel Manager, Hospitality Manager, Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or in a similar management role
Demonstrated ability to manage accommodation services, guest services, food and beverage operations and staff supervision
Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required
