We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter / Machinist / Hydraulics Technician to join our friendly and fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with their hands and tackling jobs that require initiative, problem-solving and a broad range of skills.
Key responsibilities
Operating lathes, milling machines and general workshop equipment
Hydraulic repairs, servicing and component replacement
Fitting, machining and mechanical repairs
General welding, fabrication and repair work
Repairing and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment
Custom engineering and one-off projects
Diagnosing problems and developing practical solutions
Working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Occasional field and breakdown work
About you
Proven experience operating lathes, milling machines and workshop machinery
Experience with hydraulics and hydraulic component repairs (not essential)
Fitting and mechanical repair experience
General welding and fabrication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to work within a time and cost-based environment
Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship




A current MR licence and Forklift Licence would be advantageous
3rd or 4th year apprentices with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
