About the Role
n
We're seeking a Pet Claims Consultant to join our Claims team. In this customer-facing role, you'll work directly with pet owners, veterinarians, and stakeholders to ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and with compassion. From lodgement to closure, you'll be part of a team that makes a real difference for people and their pets when they need it most.

Assessing, processing, and managing pet insurance claims in line with policies and guidelines
n
Reviewing veterinary reports and invoices to determine eligibility and coverage
n
Communicating empathetically with pet owners, keeping them informed and supported throughout the claims process
n
Liaising with veterinarians and clinics to gather essential information
n
Identifying and reporting potential fraudulent activity
n
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
n




Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims team
n

About you...
n
n
Experience in insurance claims or financial services
n
Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to show empathy and build rapport
n
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
n
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
n
Confidence using data entry systems and office applications
n
Negotiation and investigative skills, particularly with customers and service providers
n
