Primary Key Responsibilities
n
n
Set up, program, and operate a SYIL X9 CNC mill with Siemens 828D controls.
n
Machine prototype parts, custom manifolds, and cooling loops to standard engineering tolerances.
n
Work with a range of materials, primarily focusing on 316 Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
n
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications independently.
n
Collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, and assemblers to ensure continuous workflow.
n

What We Are Looking For
n
n
Trade Qualification: Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter / Machinist) or equivalent.
n
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling machinery.
n
Siemens Controls Mastery: Hands-on experience
operating/programming
Siemens 828D controls (this is a key requirement for the role).
n
Material Expertise: Proven experience machining stainless steel (316) and aluminum efficiently.
n
Mindset: Autonomous, adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced prototype environment, and willing to assist across broader workshop tasks where needed.
n
