About the Opportunity
n
An opportunity has arisen for an Underground Manager to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Mining Manager and work on a 4:3 roster (ad hoc 8:6 as required).
n
Your focus will be on ensuring all underground mining activities are completed within the agreed capital and operating budgets and align with the overall business strategy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
n

Ensuring compliance with relevant internal and statutory requirements while driving continuous improvements in safety, production, and cost.
n
Undertaking statutory responsibilities as the Underground Manager during rostered breaks and as required, including contractor management.
n
Providing feedback and direction to the Technical Services team to meet budgeted targets and improve operational efficiency.
n
Identifying and executing mining studies that will provide business opportunities or improvements in the future.
n
Maintaining a knowledge database to document operational improvements and ensure compliance.
n
Supporting the preparation of the annual budget and business plan (1-3yrs plan).

About You
n




Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground mining, including previous experience as an Underground Manager.
n
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
n
n
A tertiary qualification in mining engineering.
n
A First-Class Mine Managers Certification (WA).
n
Exposure to owner mining and contracting operations.
n
Contractor mining management experience.
n
Current C Class Driver's Licence (manual).
n
