We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join an established and growing manufacturing business based in Geebung.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and keeping production running smoothly.

THE ROLE
n
Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, plant and equipment and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
n
Troubleshooting production machinery and equipment
n
Servicing and maintaining plant and manufacturing equipment
n
Responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes
n




Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades and modifications
n
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
n
Working closely with production to minimise downtime
n
Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving mechanical problems.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Trade Qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or relevant mechanical trade
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience working with production machinery
n
High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Experience with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
n
Solid safety awareness
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
HIGHLY REGARDED
n
n
Restricted Electrical Licence
n
Experience with automation and control systems
n
Permit to Work experience
n
n
