N.S.W Instant Cash is seeking aSales Assistantto join our team in Pawnbroking at Cardiff and Maitland, NSW.
This is acasual position leading to fulltime employment for the right applicantoffering flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service and supporting our retail operations.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our business, delivering a positive shopping experience and contributing to the success of our store through engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining our retail environment to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product enquiries and purchases
Processing sales transactions accurately and securely using our point-of-sale systems
Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail space, including restocking shelves and displays
Handling cash and card payments with integrity and following all company procedures
Building positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
Following company policies and procedures at all times
Supporting the store team to meet sales targets and objectives
Assisting with stock management and inventory checks as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in retail or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers




Numeracy skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately
Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual hours including weekends if required
A friendly, positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn point-of-sale systems quickly
