CNC - Broken Hill Hospital - Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 (CNC1) to join its Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team in Broken Hill, NSW.
This is a three-month contract role offering AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will bring specialist experience in CAMHS to a safeguarding-focused service, working with young people and their families in a regional healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements




Substantial experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services
Demonstrated expertise in safeguarding practice within CAMHS settings
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills with young people experiencing mental health difficulties
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
Sound knowledge of child protection frameworks and mandatory reporting obligations in NSW
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or specialist training in mental health nursing or child and adolescent mental health
Current First Aid and CPR certification
