Westmead Private Cardiology – Westmead NSW
This is a full-time position in a medical practice supporting the running of multiple doctor's clinics.
You will be the primary point of contact for patients and practitioners, managing a range of administrative and clinical support tasks in a busy healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
Attend to enquiries over the phone, email and in person
Manage specialist appointments, procedure bookings and patient inquiries
Confidence using medical practice software (or willingness to learn) eg HealthTrack
Take payments and process Medicare claims (batching), Private Health Fund billing, including reconciling of billing
Run multiple doctor's clinics and prepare consulting sessions
Work closely with clinic practitioners and admin staff to create a smooth running organisation
Maintain the "face of the clinic" by providing excellent customer service and support

Scan and import documents
About you
Previous experience in a medical practice (cardiology or specialist practice highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organisation skills with strong attention to detail
The ability to prioritise and remain calm in a busy environment
Confidence using medical practice software (or willingness to learn)
A positive, reliable and team focused attitude
A supporting and welcoming team setting
A stable, long-term position
The ability to work a 9 day fortnight
