ABOUT THE POSITION

Sell & Parker is looking for a experienced Machine Operator to join our operations Team in Kings Park. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner and performing a variety of tasks to assist in the day-to-day operation of the yard. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team.

ABOUT YOU
n
n
Proven experience in Metal, Manufacturing or Mining Industry, desirable but not essential.
n
Experience in excavators and/or material handlers.
n
Knowledge of operational characteristics of a variety of heavy equipment.
n
Knowledge of maintenance requirements of heavy equipment.
n
Proven experience performing a variety of skilled construction and maintenance tasks.
n
Experience in manual handling.
n
Ability to interpret and work off nests.
n
High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
n
Mechanical aptitude.




n
Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens).
n
Currently have the right to work in Australia.
n
Pass a Police Check.
n

HOURS
n
n
Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5:30pm
n
Saturday as required
n
n
