The Tasmania Football Club is on a historic journey to build Tasmania's AFL and AFLW club from the ground up.

We're looking for a casual Physiotherapist to provide high-quality clinical, rehabilitation and athlete-care support to our developing players.
n
This is an opportunity to work within an integrated High Performance environment and play an important role in supporting the development and progression of Tasmania's emerging football talent.
n
About the Role
n
You will provide clinical support across our Northern Academy program, with a focus on early access to assessment, treatment, screening and rehabilitation.
n
Working closely with our Physiotherapy, Physical Performance and High Performance teams, you'll support athletes through injury assessment and management, gym and field rehabilitation and return-to-performance, while helping maintain consistent clinical standards across the player pathway.
n
You'll provide injury assessment, treatment, screening, clinical triage and referral; design and deliver gym and field rehabilitation programs; attend scheduled Academy training and individual clinical appointments; and maintain accurate clinical notes, rehabilitation plans and athlete management system records.

Importantly,



you'll work collaboratively across the broader High Performance team to ensure clear communication and continuity of care as athletes develop and progress through the pathway.

What You'll Bring
n
You'll be a registered Physiotherapist with robust clinical reasoning, rehabilitation and communication skills and an interest in working with developing athletes.
n
You'll also bring:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist and appropriate professional indemnity
n
Current First Aid/CPR
n
Strong rehabilitation and clinical reasoning capability
n
The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with athletes, coaches and High Performance practitioners
n
Team-sport experience and familiarity with athlete management systems, testing and physical performance environments will be highly regarded
n
Postgraduate sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy qualifications and experience with AMS, VALD and GPS will also be highly regarded.

The Working Model
n
This is a casual position in the north of the state, with delivery predominantly across weekday and evening delivery. No routine match day requirement. Occasional camp or requested VFL match support may apply.
