TRUCK DRIVER MR LOCAL PICK UP & DELIVERY DRIVER – TOWNSVILLE
This is a permanent full-time position providing local pick-up and delivery services throughout Townsville and surrounding areas.
Your day-to-day duties will include local pick-ups and deliveries throughout the Townsville area, delivering palletised general freight to commercial customers, operating an MR tautliner fitted with a tailgate, loading and unloading freight as required, completing vehicle pre-start checks, using the electronic freight and delivery system, providing professional and friendly service to customers, and ensuring freight is handled and secured safely.
Key responsibilities
Local pick-ups and deliveries throughout the Townsville area
Delivering palletised general freight to commercial customers
Operating an MR tautliner fitted with a tailgate
Loading and unloading freight as required
Completing vehicle pre-start checks




Using the electronic freight and delivery system
Providing professional and friendly service to customers
Ensuring freight is handled and secured safely
About you
A current MR Licence or higher
A good driving record
A strong focus on safety
Reliability and a positive work ethic
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
