This opportunity is based at an underground mining operation within driving distance of Adelaide, offering the unique opportunity to earn competitive mining rates while returning home after each shift.

14:14 roster - 7 days, 7 nights, 14 off
n
Wednesday to Tuesday rotations
n
12-hour shifts
n
DIDO - ideal for Adelaide Hills / Mt Barker region
n
Return home after each shift with no camp living required
n
n
The Role
n
As a Leading Hand HD Fitter, you'll take on a hands-on leadership role within the maintenance team, working across the workshop and assisting with field and underground maintenance as required.
n
The mobile fleet consists of Sandvik and CAT underground equipment including trucks, boggers and development drills.
n
n
Lead and support tradespeople on shift
n




Scheduled and preventative maintenance
n
Repairs and component change-outs
n
Breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostics
n
Provide technical support to the maintenance team
n
Workshop, field and underground duties
n
Maintain a strong focus on safety and equipment availability
n
n
Your Value
n
You'll be an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter with a strong underground hard rock background and previous experience leading or supervising trades.
n
n
Underground hard rock mining experience maintaining mobile equipment
n
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and support the wider team
n
Valid Australian Driver's Licence
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
n
n
Advantageous:
n
n
Strong knowledge and experience working on Sandvik underground equipment
n
Experience across CAT underground mobile equipment
n
n
The Contract & Rates
n
This is a long-term temp-to-perm prospect, initially employed through Marble before transitioning into a permanent position with the mining contractor.
n
n
Marble contract rates: $*****-$*****ph + super, (depending on experience), weekly pay through Marble, transition to permanent employment after 6 months
n
n
