About the Role
Wellcamp Regional Accommodation Centre is seeking an experienced, hands‐on Executive Chef to lead catering operations at our large‐scale accommodation facility.
You'll lead a high‐performing kitchen team and set the standard for food quality, safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
Working within remote accommodation villages and workforce camps, you will play a key role in preparing and delivering high‐quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities




Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 20, including Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Hands and Front of House Attendants
Plan, prepare and oversee production of quality meals for ******* guests daily
Ensure all food meets company, client, and regulatory standards
Develop seasonal menus, special dietary options, and cost‐effective meal plans
Manage purchasing, stock control, inventory, and supplier relationships
Monitor food costs, wastage, labour costs and kitchen budgets
Maintain compliance with food safety, HACCP, WHS and environmental requirements
Deliver staff training, performance management and development programs
Build a positive kitchen culture based on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Skills, Tickets & Experience
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality Management (or equivalent)
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or Senior Chef in a FIFO, DIDO, or remote accommodation environment
Proven experience leading teams of up to 20
Demonstrated ability to deliver high‐volume services of up to 800 meals per service
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Sound working knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems and WHS
Experience in menu planning, cost control, budgeting, and inventory management
Ability to maintain quality under pressure
Current driver's licence
