We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused and hardworking MR Truck Driver to join a busy steel and fabrication operation based in Loganholme.
This is a permanent position offering local Brisbane deliveries, yard duties, overtime opportunities and the chance to become a valued member of a close-knit team.

About the Role
This is not a "sit in the truck all day" driving job.
You'll be responsible for completing local steel deliveries throughout Brisbane while assisting the warehouse and fabrication team when you're back in the yard.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate an MR truck for local deliveries
Load, unload and secure steel products
Complete delivery documentation and proof of delivery requirements
Use the DeTrack POD system
Carry out daily vehicle inspections
Ensure loads are transported safely and legally
Assist with general yard duties when not on delivery runs
Work closely with warehouse and fabrication teams
Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers
What We're Looking For
We're after someone with strong driving skills and a positive work ethic.
Whether you've worked with steel, construction products or general freight,
we're primarily looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Current MR Driver's Licence
Proven safe driving history
Ability to undertake physical loading and unloading duties
Strong understanding of load restraint and vehicle safety
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Positive communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Current PPE and commitment to workplace safety
Highly Regarded
Steel industry experience
Construction materials delivery experience
Fabrication workshop exposure
Forklift Licence (LF)
Warehouse and yard experience
Experience using electronic POD systems
Knowledge of load restraint requirements
