Early Childhood Teacher - Part Time Contract for ****
Mitchelton Pre-Schooling Centre (MPC) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.
Commencing in Term 1, **** in our Unit 2-3 day group Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (45 hours per fortnight).
This is a 12 month contract role for the **** school year with the possibility of extension.
The Role
Early Childhood Teacher - Part Time
Commencing 18 January **** until 10 December ****
45 Hours per fortnight, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Employment and remuneration for this position is covered by the Mitchelton Pre-Schooling Centre Inc Early Childhood Education Centre Enterprise Agreement ****
Requirements
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with ACECQA approval
Current Queensland Teachers Registration
Minimum 3 years experience in the role of ECT
Must hold a current blue card or exemption card
Must hold first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis
Completed or willing to complete all mandatory Child Safety Training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Attendance at staff and committee meetings

Strong understanding of the 'Code of Ethics' Early Childhood Australia, Commitment to Child Protection and Safety.
In collaboration with the Educational Leader, delivering a high quality, inclusive early childhood educational program based on the Early Years Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
An understanding of 'Play' and in its importance to children's learning.
Demonstrate open and effective communication with children, parents, management committee and colleagues.
A growth mind-set and commitment to professional development and team collaboration.
Commitment to sustainability, diversity and inclusion.
Experience teachers and educators collaborate with children to deliver an outstanding program with an emphasis on our natural environment.
