Our client is a reputable engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in custom-compounded PTFE and PEEK products, including compression-moulded rods, tubes and sheets.
n
They are looking for a reliable and motivated Production / Manufacturing Operator to join their team in North Rocks NSW ****.
n
About the Role
n
This is a hands-on production position where you'll be involved in manufacturing specialised engineering products used across a range of industries.
n
Working as part of an experienced production team, you'll operate manufacturing equipment, monitor production processes and carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the company's standards.
n
You don't need to be an expert in PTFE or PEEK. We're looking for someone who is practical, dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
n
Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operating experience would be an advantage.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating and monitoring manufacturing and production equipment
n
Producing compression-moulded PTFE and PEEK products
n
Following production procedures and work instructions
n
Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
n




Identifying and reporting production or equipment issues
n
Assisting with basic equipment maintenance where required
n
Working with other team members to meet production requirements
n
Maintaining accurate production records
n
Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous manufacturing, production, machine-operating or similar experience
n
A practical, hands-on approach
n
Strong attention to detail
n
The ability to follow instructions and established procedures
n
Good communication skills
n
Reliability and a robust work ethic
n
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Basic computer skills for production records and data entry
n
A commitment to workplace safety
n
n
A forklift licence would be useful but is not essential.
n
