Assistant Underwriter or Underwriter - Strata Insurance

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Residential Strata team as an Assistant Underwriter or Underwriter (subject to experience).
It is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is looking to develop their insurance experience and skills in a growing organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager - Residential Strata, you will actively contribute to the team by:
Timely processing of new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments including preparation of documents
Assisting with new business submissions and renewals including liaising with brokers to obtain all necessary information and check accuracy
Issuing Strata quotes and renewal terms whilst adhering to Underwriting Guidelines
Taking inbound queries and requests from brokers - phone and email
Recording and maintaining electronic client records
About You
To be successful for this role you will need:
At least 2 years' experience within the General Insurance / Financial Services industry
Working knowledge of Property and/or Strata underwriting.
Experience in Strata Management will also be favourably considered
Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice and Privacy obligations
Certificate IV in General Insurance or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and to be a team player
