Allied Express is seeking an experienced and practical Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to join our team in Sydney.
Reporting to the National Safety Manager, you will work closely with operational leaders and teams across the business to support the effective management of safety and wellbeing throughout Allied Express.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys being visible across operations, building strong relationships with frontline teams and operational leaders, and turning safety requirements into practical outcomes.
You will play an important role in promoting our "Safe Home Every Day" value and supporting a positive and proactive safety culture across Allied Express.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the National Safety Manager with safety and wellbeing compliance across the business.
Provide practical safety advice and support to operational leaders and teams.
Participate in workplace consultation, including Safety & Wellbeing Action Group (SWAG) committees.
Support incident, hazard and corrective action management through Donesafe.
Participate in site audits, safety walks, observations and safety conversations.
Support safety reporting, including identifying trends and recommending areas for improvement.
Assist with safety and wellbeing projects, initiatives and technology improvements.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive, practical and solutions-focused individual who is passionate about safety and wellbeing, builds robust relationships and can drive positive outcomes across a fast-paced operational environment.




You have 3+ years' experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing role.
You have experience working in high-risk operational environments, ideally within transport, logistics or warehousing.
You hold a tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline.
You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence operational leaders and frontline teams.
You arepractical, approachable and proactive, with a genuine commitment to safety and wellbeing.
You can manage competing priorities and work effectively in afast-paced operational environment.
You lead by example and demonstratepositive safety behaviours.
