Certified Behaviour Analyst/Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Are you a Certified Behaviour Analyst who wants to work in a role that extends beyond restrictive practices and crisis response?
Step by Step Interventions is seeking an experienced Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) who is also an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about improving quality of life through evidence-based assessment, skill development, Positive Behaviour Support and meaningful capacity-building interventions.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload while collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and Allied Health Assistants to help clients achieve greater independence, participation and wellbeing.

We support individuals and families across the Hawkesbury, Nepean, Western Sydney, Hills District and surrounding regions.

The Role
As a Certified Behaviour Analyst, you will:
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
Develop and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Deliver capacity-building supports that improve independence and quality of life
Design and oversee skill acquisition programs
Support emotional regulation, communication, daily living and social skills development
Provide coaching and training to families, carers and support teams
Complete NDIS reports,



assessment summaries and behaviour support documentation
Collaborate closely with psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and Allied Health Assistants
Develop intervention programs and provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants delivering supports under your supervision
Participate in regular supervision, peer review and career development opportunities

While Positive Behaviour Support forms part of this role, we recognise that behaviour analysis is much broader than responding to behaviours of concern.
Our behaviour analysts support clients to develop meaningful skills, improve independence, increase participation and achieve goals that matter to them.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop intervention programs, provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants, and see your recommendations implemented consistently across a client's everyday environments.

About You
We're looking for a clinician who:
Is a Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA)
Is an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
Has experience supporting people with disabilities and complex support needs
Enjoys delivering both capacity‐building and behaviour support services
Is confident working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Values evidence-based practice and ethical service delivery
Is confident building relationships with families, carers and support networks
Is passionate about improving quality of life and achieving meaningful outcomes
Essential Requirements
Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) qualification
NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration
Working With Children Check
National Police Check
Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
