Report to an experienced Senior Estimator
Be instrumental in tendering on and securing projects across retail, commercial and industrial refurbishment and new-build projects
Tender new build and refurbishment projects from $2M - $50M
Salary negotiable for the right candidate, dependent on experience anticipated to be between $100,000 - $120,000 + Super
The Company:
Our client is an excellent, established mid-tier commercial building and refurbishment contractor with an annual turnover of approx.
$350M across its offices nationally.
Due to continued success in QLD, they are now looking to recruit a junior level Estimator to join their Gold Coast office.
With a managing Estimator in place and the General Manger working closely on pre-construction strategy, they are flexible with the level of experience candidates possess and will consider applicants with 1-3 years' experience across estimating and/or Quantity Surveying with a tertiary degree in a construction related field.
The Position:
By leveraging existing clients, solid systems and an excellent business reputation, you will assist the senior estimator tender on a range of refurbishment and new build construction projects which will include industrial warehouses,



fast food restaurants, shopping centres, retirement living projects and more valued between $3M - $50M.
Your duties will include but not limited to;
Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Performing quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Assisting in the development of tender programmes and methodologies.
Maintaining tender registers and estimating databases.
Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Supporting handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams.
Assisting with value engineering and cost planning exercises.
Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.
