Job Description

Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist | Flexible Caseload | Children, Adolescents & Young Adults
Full-Time or Part-Time | Camden, NSW
Are you looking for your next steps in your professional career?
Do you want to work in a practice that understands your needs as a Psychologist?
Camden Child & Family Therapies is a well-established and growing private psychology practice in the heart of Camden.
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to join our supportive and experienced team.
We closely understand the needs of Psychologists working within this industry.
The owner and developer of the company is a Registered Psychologist with 25 years experience and hence has direct clinical insights into what you need to fulfil this role supportively.
She has done the time and created a role she herself wants to work in.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist who is interested in extending skills with neuro-developmental assessment whist working with varied case load presentations across children, adolescents and young adults.
In the role we provide supervision, strong real life administrative support, professional development opportunities with protected report writing and administrative time.

We also closely review all intake referrals coming into the practice to ensure the best fit for the practice and you, the clinician, before appointments are offered.
Flexibility is available for working days with options for hybrid roles.
Whether you are an experienced psychologist looking for a supportive new environment or a provisional psychologist wanting to build your skills with strong supervision and guidance, we would love to hear from you.
Full registration or provisional registration with AHPRA
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
A commitment to ethical, evidence-based and client-centred practice
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and/or young adults
Interest or experience in neurodiversity
Experience or interest in psychological assessment
Experience with psychometric testing and report writing
Experience working within a private practice or multidisciplinary environment
You do not need to tick every box.
If you are passionate about psychology, eager to develop your skills and believe you would be a great fit for our team, we encourage you to apply.
