Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands on role suited to someone with strong warehousing or yard experience who is confident in operating a forklift and holds a HR licence.

The Yard Hand will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our yard, ensuring scaffolding orders are accurately prepared, returned goods are checked and trucks are safely loaded and unloaded.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Picking and packing scaffolding orders for customers.
n
Conducting quality checks on scaffolding and goods returned to the yard.
n
Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard.
n
Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties.
n
Occasionally completing deliveries and pickups using company trucks.
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements.

About You:
n




To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current Forklift Licence – essential.
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in warehousing, yard operations or a similar enviroment.
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
n
A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Good understanding of safe manual handling and workplace practices.
n
Scaffolding industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n

Consistent hours of 7:00am – 3:30pm.
