Qualified &Experienced; Outside School Hours Care Educator

We are seeking exceptional applicants who are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting primary aged children to grow and develop.
n
Bulimba State School Outside School Hours Care is a large service licensed to care for 255 children and highly regarded as a "service of choice" in Brisbane. We are seeking to employ experienced and qualified educators to work within our team to support a play and leisure-based program for children aged between 5 and 12 years old.
n
The position will be a casual role, working a mixture of morning (6.30am -9:00am) shifts and afternoon shifts (2:15pm-6:00pm) during school term Monday to Friday and then varying shifts during the Vacation care program when the service is open from 6.30am to 6:00pm.

To be successful, you will need:
n
n
Team Work: Showcase strong leadership abilities while supporting a team of Educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagement.
n
Inter-personal skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and well-developed emotional intelligence. You must be a reliable and outgoing person who has lots of initiative.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to delegate, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding in the implementation and ongoing management of the National Quality Framework.
n
Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to positively network and collaborate to drive community engagement and customer service.
n
A Certificate, Diploma or Tertiary qualification in relevant field (or equivalent) or have been actively working towards this for at least 1 year.
n
Hold a current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.
n
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
Completion of National Child Safety Training Foundation Course

National Police Check (completed within 6 months)
