The Classroom Support Assistant works with teachers to support students with diverse learning needs, helping them access and engage in learning programs, develop social skills, and achieve academic outcomes that promote independence and confidence.
Salary Range:$75,935 full-time equivalent plus superannuation
Employment Status:Part-time | 12 hours per fortnight

About the Role

The Classroom Support Assistant is a member of the classroom support team that plays a key role in supporting classroom teachers to ensure that all students with diverse learning needs can access and participate in the curriculum and activities to achieve the academic goals and social skills required for independent learning and confident participation. Relevant experience in an industrial workplace will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Eligibility
Certificate III in School-based Education Support or be undertaking an Initial Teacher Education university program of study
NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
