Fitter & Turner - Up to $50/hr | Day Shift | Temp to Perm

The Opportunity
n
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Fitter & Turner to join a friendly and experienced team.
n
You'll be involved in a wide-ranging mix of fitting, manual machining, fabrication and maintenance, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working on different projects rather than repetitive production work.

What's on offer

Up to $50 per hour, depending on skills and experience
n
Monday to Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm
n
Overtime only when required for specific projects
n
Different work every day

Manual milling and lathe work

Fitting, machining, fabrication and maintenance

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
n
n
Solid experience as a Fitter & Turner
n
Strong manual machining skills
n
Confidence operating manual milling machines and lathes
n
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
n
Experience with fitting, fabrication and general maintenance
n
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
A strong commitment to quality and safe work practices
n
n
Experience with Cutex 160A MC and HAAS VF3 will be highly regarded.
