As a result, an opportunity exists for a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical to join the team on a
significantdevelopment
project. This role offers exposure to a complex project environment, working alongside a highly regarded head contractor and experienced project team. It is ideally suited to an ambitious Project Engineer looking to progress their career or a Senior Project Engineer seeking their next challenge on a major project.

The Role
n
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of the mechanical services package from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.
n
Working closely with project management, site teams, consultants and subcontractors, you will play an important role in ensuring project objectives are achieved across programme, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

Supporting the planning and delivery of the mechanical services package
n
Coordinating mechanical works with the head contractor,



consultants and subcontractors
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
n
Managing RFIs, variations, procurement activities and project documentation
n
Assisting with subcontractor coordination and performance management
n
Monitoring project programme, milestones, quality outcomes and costs
n
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and relevant industry standards
n
Supporting testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out activities
n
Maintaining strong communication with key project stakeholders
n
Contributing to project planning, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
n
n

n
You will be a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering or building services and experience delivering projects within complex construction environments.
n
You will enjoy working collaboratively, possess strong organisational skills and have the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
n
Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
n
A Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Building Services background
n
Experience delivering major construction, defence, infrastructure or similarly complex projects
n
A relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
n
Robust technical, coordination and project administration skills
n
Experience working within a Tier 1 project environment will be highly regarded
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
n
A proactive approach and commitment to achieving successful project outcomes
n
